Smiths Social Space
The Smiths Lane Hub has a dedicated community space for residents and local families, offering a diverse range of activities for all ages and interests. From educational workshops, social gatherings and playgroup, the Smiths Lane Hub is always buzzing with life. Smiths Social Space is also available for use by community groups.

Our Community Development team, including a dedicated Smiths Lane Community Development Officer, is your go-to for all things community here at Smiths Lane. We’re here to help you connect with your neighbours and support you to get involved. We work with residents, community groups and other stakeholders, like local schools, to help foster a thriving community through events, activities, community spaces and connecting residents – ensuring everyone feels welcome and a sense of belonging.

Get involved
Smiths Lane has a number of community groups that you can get involved in. The Smiths Lane Community Group is a passionate group of residents helping to shape the future of this vibrant community. These dedicated volunteers work together with Mirvac, residents and other community partners to organise events and initiatives for their community to come together, participate and enhance community wellbeing. There’s also a playgroup and retirees social group who meet weekly in the Smiths Lane Hub.
